Your details

What we collect

When you send a quote or booking request, we receive what you put in the form: your name, phone number, email, the job address or town, what you need, how soon, your message, and any photos or plans you attach.

When you join our annual service schedule, we receive your name, contact details, property address, the services you tick, any notes and any photos you attach. We use these to contact you when your services are due.

When you apply for a job, we receive your name, contact details, where you're based, the role, what you tell us about yourself and your CV. We only use these to consider you for a job with us.

On the live website we also use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages people use, and count phone-number taps, quote and booking requests (with the service picked), service schedule sign-ups and job applications. It never records your name or contact details. It uses cookies and doesn't tell us who you are.

Why

We use your details to reply to you, quote, and do the job. We don't sell or share them for marketing.

Where it's kept

Forms you send on this website are received by our website host, Netlify, and emailed to our office at office@spg.plumbing through Resend, which also sends you a copy if you give your email address. Netlify, Resend and Google store data on servers outside New Zealand.

The areas map

The map on our areas page loads from OpenStreetMap, so their servers see your IP address when it shows. It sets no cookies. When you use "Do we come to you?", Google Analytics counts the check and, if the town is on our list, which town. It never records what you type.

Seeing or correcting your details

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, or ask us to correct them. Email office@spg.plumbing or call 0508 758 624.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
